Due Diligence & Feasibility Studies

DEFINITION

Research and analysis is often necessary to evaluate a site and determine if a proposed project type will be suitable and cost effective. Analysis can consist of many factors and variables. This data is then compiled and provided to the owner/client to aid in making the decision of project feasibility.

OUR JOB

At SCO, our Feasibility Studies include the scope requested by our clients, comprehensive and typically contain many of the items listed below: 

  • Evaluation of existing, or proposed Zoning and General Plan designation.
  • Permitting and entitlement requirements / timeline. 
  • Review of required development standards (parking, access, building, site coverage, snow storage). 
  • Review of boundary, existing easements, title policies (exceptions), legal access, etc. 
  • State environmental policies and local codes (wetlands, species reports, tree removal, waterways). 
  • Engineering standards, available utilities infrastructure. 
  • Fee Estimates (construction and agency fees).
